FORMER Nunnery Wood High School pupil Rachel Walker scored the only goal of the game as the England women's hockey team beat Azerbaijan in the Champions Challenge.
It was 28-year-old Walker's 15th goal for her country and came in the 60th minute of the game from a fierce strike that left the Azerbaijan goalkeeper rooted to the spot.
Walker, who was also a student Worcester Sixth Form College, will now be hoping her side can beat China in their final round-robin game tomorrow to progress to the final.
England beat New Zealand 1-0 earlier in the competition.
