KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have signed former Panathinaikos youth winger Robert Stambolziev on a one-year deal.
The 25 year-old has impressed in pre-season over the last six weeks on trial.
After playing junior football in his native Australia, Stambolziev first came to England with Bristol City for two seasons in 2007 before joining Greek side Panathinaikos.
He had trials with the likes of Stoke City and Birmingham City before over the last 12 months settling back Down Under with A League side Sydney.
A free agent after leaving at the end of last season, he returned to England to turn out for Harriers in July.
Stambolziev goes straight into the squad for tomorrow’s Vanarama National League North opener at Curzon Ashton (3pm).
