WORCESTER Warriors’ new artificial grass pitch will be staging six-a-side football from September 12.
Soccersixes’ chiefs say they plan to bring a league to Sixways Stadium on Monday evenings, running from 7pm onwards.
Warriors have installed their new pitch over the summer, meaning Soccersixes players can enjoy a top-quality surface at a Premiership rugby union stadium.
There will be three divisions to choose from with all standards welcome and all equipment for the league is provided.
Teams can be made up from friends, family or work colleagues with squads being unlimited in terms of players being able to sign for a club.
Squads on matchday can have as few as six members with a maximum of nine.
Spaces for the league will be limited and are expected to go quickly.
