UPDATE: Worcester Warriors "always on look-out for quality players," says Carl Hogg

Warriors have brought in centres Ben Te'o and Jackson Willison, lock Will Spencer, hooker Matt Williams and backrow Marco Mama, who had a loan spell at Sixways last term.

Warriors travel to Tignes in France tomorrow with a 43-man squad for an intensive pre-season camp with players training at high altitude.

And Hogg said: "We are always on the look-out for quality players.

"We are very comfortable and very happy with the squad we've got but if there's an opportunity for someone to come in and enhance the group we will always look at that."

Speculation suggests Alafoti Fa'osiliva, who was sacked by Bath in May after pleading guilty to assault, is holding talks with Warriors.

The 30-year-old backrow has won 18 caps for Samoa and has previously played for Toulon and Bristol.

Meanwhile, Hogg says Warriors will be using this season's Anglo-Welsh Cup to "blood some young players".

Warriors will renew their rivalry with Bristol when the sides meet in the competition at Sixways on Friday, November 4 (7.45pm).

Warriors travel to the Ricoh Arena to resume their West Midlands rivalry with Wasps on Sunday, November 13 (3pm) before welcoming Harlequins to Sixways on Saturday, January 28 (3pm).

Warriors round off their pool with a trip to Cardiff Blues on Saturday, February 4 (3pm).

"We will look at the Anglo-Welsh Cup to blood some young players and there are some great fixtures and it's part and parcel of growing our young players," said Hogg.

"We want to produce our own Worcester Warriors players who come in from 14 years old and progress through the system and it provides a pathway.

"We have to create a balance because there's no point putting in all academy players.

"You have to make sure there are some experienced players there to guide them but it will be a mixed group.

"It certainly won't be a front-line Premiership group but it will be a chance for people to put their hands up."
