LEE Freeman and his daughter Ashleigh are celebrating after achieving black belt status with Master Harrison’s Family Taekwondo (MCHF TKD).

The duo shone at their grading and were presented with belts and certificates at the MCHF TKD awards evening and now join the club’s prestigious roll of honour.

Chief instructor master Clive Harrison, an eighth Dan, was pleased with his students’ new grades.

“Lee and Ashleigh had an excellent grading and the award is the culmination of five years’ continuous training and hard work,” he said.

“I’m sure they will both be an asset to our club and it marks an excellent year so far, especially for Ashleigh who won a silver and a bronze in her first two competitions.”

Both students train at Master Harrison’s club at Warndon Community Centre every Tuesday and Sunday night at 7pm.
