WORCESTER and Droitwich Taekwondo won two team events alongside 32 medals at a memorial competition in Birmingham.
The event raised money for charity Cardiac Risk in the Young with the club’s schools sending 19 competitors with two ranking among the best of the day.
Alice Laverty won gold medals in the continuous sparring and patterns as she was rated top competitor.
Joe Mitchell secured victory in the team patterns on his way to being ranked second overall in the competition.
There were also golds for Teo Condurache, Alex Recardo and Mitchell in the points sparring and Mylo Thomas in the patterns.
Team sparring golds went to Rob Clark, Neil Harvey and Adam Monks with Theresa Mitchell winning in the patterns equivalent.
Silvers were won by Amy Pullen and Laverty (both point sparring), Georgie Bull (continuous sparring), Recardo, Mitchell, Adam Johnson and Ellie Clark (all patterns) and Simon Recardo and Ben Walker (both team sparring).
Bronzes were claimed by Andre De Warr (points sparring), Condurache, Pullen, Irsidi Cokaj and Rob Clark (all patterns), Laverty, Bull and Lisa Perkins (all team sparring) and Johnson (continuous sparring).
Harvey took bronze in black belt point sparring, continuous sparring and patterns, while Sally Gleaves was third in black belt patterns.
