MARTLEY Cricket Club advanced in the Dowdeswell Cup with a convincing 65-run home win over Rushwick in the preliminary round.
They scored 162-4 off 12 overs after Ben Jones (38) and Matt Repton (20) gave them a good start.
The middle order all contributed with Pat Bibby hitting 29, Alex Basford 20 not out and Richard Birchley 31.
Chasing a big total, Rushwick never really got going.
Ali Robb made 29 and Ben Bromage 26 not out, but they were never up with the run-rate and ended on 97-5 with Jai Wickham taking 2-26.
