OLD Vigornians remain in third place in Worcestershire Cricket League Division Three after a thrilling one-wicket win in a low-scoring match at bottom-of-the-table Cleobury Mortimer.
The Worcester side looked like they were cruising after dismissing Cleobury for just 83 on a pitch that seamed and bounced.
Charlie Lamb (3-17) and 15-year-old Max Richardson (3-25) bowled superbly to make the early inroads.
George Painter took 2-20 before Azmat Riaz (1-1) and Ivan Campbell-Ferguson (1-8) wrapped things up.
But, in reply, Chris Drew fell first ball and in-form Rob Lanchbury-Thomas also went for a duck.
Captain Osman Fiaz (17) and Painter (24) steadied the ship and Riaz also scored 10.
But there was a collapse, compounded by a comical run-out when Richardson also went for a duck without facing a ball.
From 67-5, OVs found themselves on 73-9.
With five runs needed, Lamb was dropped trying to clear the boundary but the next over saw Dave Cole steer the ball to third man for a four to seal an amazing win.
