Boyle hits 81 in Old Elizabethans' defeat to Shifnal
WORCESTER'S Old Elizabethans lost to title-chasing Shifnal by six wickets in a Birmingham and District League Division Two match reduced to 30 overs-a-side due to rain.
Skipper Jamie Boyle cracked 81 in OEs' total of 163 all out with Shropshire off-spinner Jack McIver picking up 5-31 for the home side.
The highlight of the Shifnal innings was a blistering 55 from 25 balls from Connor Dudley, which was well supported by Tom Collins (47) and McIver (46 not out).
