BROCKHAMPTON'S surge up the Birmingham and District Cricket League Division One table continued with a three-wicket win at inconsistent Bromsgrove.
Worcestershire's Alexei Kervezee (56) hit his customary half-century for Bromsgrove before he was dismissed by Jamie McIlroy (4 for 54) but a total of 170 all out always looked as though it was 30 short.
The Bromsgrove attack pushed hard for an unlikely win but 38 from Senuran Muthusamy guided Brockhampton up to third place in the table, nine points ahead of Himley.
The match between Wellington and Barnards Green was abandoned without a ball being bowled.
