PAKISTAN A and Sri Lanka A trained at Royal Grammar School Worcester’s Flagge Meadow ground ahead of their four-day match at New Road starting on Sunday (11am).
The professionals met pupils and student Dylan Griffiths is now the proud owner of one of the players’ hats.
RGS headteacher John Pitt said: “We were delighted to welcome the Pakistan and Sri Lanka teams to our glorious Flagge Meadow facilities, where cricket has been played for 130 years.
“We are very pleased Worcestershire CCC have chosen RGS Worcester’s outstanding cricket facilities as their second home and look forward to welcoming more first-class cricket players to our school.”
