Pauline secures golf double at Ombersley
IN-FORM Pauline Terry scooped a ladies’ double at Ombersley Golf Club.
She won the Samantha’s Trophy at the Worcestershire club with 37 points, ahead of Rose Evans in second on 36 and Pauline Smith in third position on 35.
Terry also claimed a nine-hole qualifier with 19 points, followed by runner-up Jenny Coopey on 17 and Dee Moore on 15.
Ombersley’s June medal honours went to Helen Lane on 71 nett with Steph Searle in second spot and Andy Wright third as both scored 73.
The Bishops Wood Road club’s June Rose Bowl was won by Sue Hele with 37 points in front of runner-up Val Chapman on 35 and the third-placed Margaret Leatherby on 33.
