WORCESTERSHIRE & Herefordshire reclaimed the Iskitz Three Counties Championship title by routing holders Shropshire 63-15 at Newport’s Forton Road.
The win followed a 57-10 victory over Shropshire in a group match last month.
Kidderminster Carolians centre George Morgan scored a hat-trick of tries but Worcestershire & Herefordshire had to come from behind after Shrewsbury fly-half Tom Cookson kicked Shropshire into a 12-0 lead.
But tries from Morgan and Worcester Wanderers flanker Tom Dodge settled W&H and helped them into a 15-12 lead at half time.
Worcestershire & Herefordshire ran in seven second-half tries against a Shropshire side unable to call on players from Newport and Bridgnorth.
Morgan added two more tries with his younger brother Arthur also crossing. Dodge also got a second try with Old Halesonians full-back Andy Holloway, Old Halesonians prop Matt Young and Kidderminster Carolians scrum-half Chris Pinner scoring one each.
Evesham fly-half Mike Diston, who took the man-of-the-match award, kicked a penalty and five conversions and Sam Hopkins (Evesham) a penalty and a conversion.
