VICKY Lane has become the first female junior captain at the Worcestershire Golf Club in Malvern.
The 16-year-old, who plays off a handicap of 15, has been a member of the club for four years and also represents the Worcestershire and Hereford-shire county girls' team.
In recent years, the Worc-estershire junior section have raised more than £700 for the Acorns Children's Hospice in Worcester.
