THE Worcestershire Schools Badminton Association are holding trials for their junior county squads on Sunday, July 1.
The trials at the Elgar Technology College, Bilford Road, Worcester, will take the form of a tournament split into three age groups of under 13s, under 15s and under 17s.
There will be boys and girls singles in each age group with prizes for the winners and runners-up in each event.
England and Worcestershire coach Lorraine Cole will be there all day, selecting players for each of the age group squads.
Cole said: "It doesn't necessarily matter whether or not you win your games, we are looking for potential and, win or lose, the tournament is always a lot of fun.
"It is a great honour to play for your county so we hope as many children as possible will come and have a go."
