WIDE midfielder Simon Russell has put pen to paper on his new one-year contract at Kidderminster Harriers.
The club's current longest-serving player at only 22 years old was originally signed by Jan Molby in 2004 on a free transfer from Hull City.
Russell has made enough of an improvement over the seasons, scoring six goals in the last campaign along with a string of assists, to be offered a new deal by boss Mark Yates.
Harriers also plan to tie up an extended contract with left-back Jonny Harkness, who has agreed to sign, and back-up 'keeper Steve Taylor is thinking over fresh terms.
Russell's commitment takes Yates' squad up to 12 confirmed players for the forthcoming 2007/08 Blue Square Premier season.
The Harriers manager is currently trying to bring new signings to Aggborough.
