ALEX Harrison produced a magnificent bowling spell to propel Evesham to a first Birmingham and District League Division Two success of the season.
The two-run win over Penn was achieved after Evesham had been dismissed for a meagre 89, having lost their last five wickets without addition to the score.
Stuart Williams top-scored with 27 but 52-1 became 89-5 before four amazing overs saw the Avon Street side's innings rapidly wrapped up.
Harrison, Nick Powell and Andrew Fisher then bagged two wickets each to reduce the chasers to 32-6 and a first win of the summer was there for the taking.
Chris Weaver's stumping ended a useful seventh-wicket stand but he missed several other chances before Harrison added two more wickets to finish with 6-30 from 19.2 overs.
