NINE members of Drakes Broughton Rangers Football Club took part in their annual sponsored bike ride to Leicester City's Walkers Stadium.
The event has been running for a number of years to raise funds for the club. In the past, they have cycled to the grounds of Cheltenham Town, Hereford United, Bristol City, Coventry City and the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff.
Rangers were helped by local businesses who sponsored the event, including Ceva Logistics of Warndon, who provided the support van for the day.
Rangers have raised around £1,600 from the 79-mile ride, which will help to run their eight junior sides.
The club, which achieved Charter Standard status in 2004, celebrates its 20th ann-iversary this season and any youngsters keen to play football can obtain details from club secretary Ian Wilcox on 01905-840576.
