YOUNG fly-half Tiff Eden will be on the bench for Worcester Warriors in tonight’s European Challenge Cup home clash against Gloucester (7.45pm).

Eden could play his first game since leading Warriors to British and Irish Cup final glory at Doncaster in April when he slotted 15 points.

Head coach Carl Hogg has made wholesale changes with flanker Matt Cox the only survivor from their Premiership starting line-up against Leicester Tigers.

There are four changes to Worcester’s side who started the last European match at Zebre with scrum-half Charlie Mulchrone leading the side and Jean-Baptiste Bruzulier not involved.

Centre Andy Symons is set for his first Warriors appearance since April after eight months on the sidelines with a knee injury and Tom Biggs starts on the wing.

Ben Howard looks to build on his full-back performances with Dean Hammond also in the back three. Alex Grove starts at 13, while Ryan Lamb aims to press his claims for a league start at fly-half.

The pack sees Ryan Bower partner Jaba Bregvadze and Gareth Milasinovich in the front row with Darren O’Shea and Dan Sanderson behind them. Cox is joined by Carl Kirwan and Marco Mama in the back row.

Scotland captain Greig Laidlaw returns to skipper Gloucester, while centre Henry Trinder starts his first game of the season.

Only Sione Kalamafoni is retained in the first XV from the team who defeated Sale Sharks in the league.

Billy Burns, who led their resurgence in October when Gloucester beat Worcester 24-22 in the league, is at fly-half. Ex-Warrior Mariano Galarza is in the second row.
