The goals came from Fran Moss, Stourport’s joint player of the match with Svenja Lee, Emma Pollock and Leanne Stysaker.

The table-topping fourths continued their unbeaten run in Division Two after they came from behind to draw 2-2 at Droitwich Spa.

With only one place and two points between the sides, Stourport produced a nervy display.

But Stourport dug deep in the second half and pulled both goals back thanks to Sophie Thompson.

The fifths beat Worcester fourths 4-0 with a brace each for Pauline Knott and Jean Senior in Division Two.

Stourport had the best possible start, taking the lead within the first two minutes.

Good passing between Rosie Connolly and Sara Jennings saw Knott eventually walk the ball over the line.

Bottom-of-the-table Worcester were 3-0 down by the end of the half as player of the match Senior scored from a goalmouth scramble and Knott added her second from a Connolly short corner.

The second half followed a similar pattern with both sides pushing forward but Senior added a fourth goal with a strike from the top of the D.

Stourport men lost 3-1 at leaders Leek in the Midlands Premier Division even with the presence of player-coach Kali Takher in defence.

The visitors scored through a deflected Dan Petrie effort that went in off the inside of the far post.

Keeper Alex Cook and man of the match Matt Duggan starred for Stourport.

The fifths beat Worcester sixths 1-0 in South West Division One through a Rob Claris short-corner strike as well as fine displays from keeper Keith Wills and defender Godfrey Lamb.

Stourport’s under 18 boys will head to the national indoor finals next year after topping their group by beating West Bridgford 8-3 and Cannock 5-1.
