WORCESTER’S Polly Drew hopes to become the first Great Britain women’s player to turn professional.
The 33-year-old doctor, who was born and bred in the city, plays at centre and helped GB win a European Championships silver medal in August.
The ex-Alice Ottley School pupil has been approached by Swedish team Stockholm Mean Machines and intends to put her career in medicine on hold to realise her dream.
