Worcester City (4-2-3-1)
7 VAUGHAN – The scoreline could have been even more one-sided if it wasn’t for the City keeper’s saves. My man of the match.
5 Minihan – Was caught in no-man’s-land for Tamworth’s second as Shane Clarke went unmarked and his afternoon failed to improve.
5 Thomas – Had a tough day against his former club as he was involved in a few scraps before receiving a yellow card for dissent.
6 Gudger – Was City’s best defender but should have done better with a free header in the second half.
4 Weir – Gifted Ross Dyer the opener before being shown a straight red card after bringing down Leon Mettam.
5 Deeney – Found life difficult against a battle-hardened Tamworth midfield and gave away possession too often.
5 Jackman – Struggled to impose himself as the Lambs took control and eventually made way for Sean Geddes.
5 Gater – Returning from an ankle injury, he looked slightly off the pace but grew into the game before being substituted.
6 Nti – Caused Tamworth’s defence problems in the early stages but his contribution faded as the hosts pulled clear.
6 Nelson-Addy – Never stopped running and created a couple of opportunities but he failed to fashion a shot on target.
5 Burton – Did not see much of the ball but was presented with City’s best chance of the first half which he fired wide.
Subs: Hughes 5 (for Gater 55), Geddes 5 (for Jackman 60), Dunkley (for Burton 80). Not used: Ross, Sharpe.
