WORCESTER Warriors will have a new name on the front of their playing shirts next season.

Worcester Bosch are to become a secondary partner at Sixways and Warriors are now looking for a new main sponsor for next term.

Club president Cecil Duckworth founded Worcester Bosch and sold the company to the Bosch Group in 1992, earning around £30 million.

He remained with the company before retiring  in 1996.

Duckworth is recognised as being the first non-German to head an operation within the Bosch Group.

Worcester Bosch managing director Carl Arntzen said: "Having started our partnership with Warriors before the turn of the century, we are delighted to be continuing our association with the club.

"We are looking to move our focus away from brand awareness and onto our corporate social responsibilities programmes so we are excited about the prospect of exploring our new avenues of sponsorship with Warriors and look forward to supporting the club for many years to come.”

Warriors chief executive Jim O'Toole said: "Worcester Bosch have been synonymous with Warriors for many years and have been great partners. We thank them for that support and look forward to our ongoing relationship.

"This club have made rapid progression over the last three years on and off the pitch we continue to work hard to deliver our long-term goal of becoming an established Premiership business.

"It is a very exciting time to be part of our journey and we are looking forward to starting our search for a partner who matches our huge ambition.”
