MARK Mansell bowled 11 overs without conceding a run and hit 49 with the bat as Kidderminster Victoria cha-lked up their first Premier Division win, beating Coventry and North Warwickshire by seven wickets.

Kidderminster won the toss and put Coventry in. After the start had been delayed by a storm, the hosts found scoring difficult with some good bowling from Jonathan Miles and Ted Baylis.

Miles struck first when Matt Brace held a superb catch to send top-scorer Gleghorn (33) back to the pavilion.

Coventry were on 74-1 when Marc Derrick replaced Miles and he only conceded 16 runs in 11 overs, taking two wickets, to halt the hosts in their tracks.

Left-arm spinner Mansell was in great form at the other end, taking three wickets.

Josh Knappett stumped Barnes for 14 and also caught Bristow for five, while Man-sell's third scalp was Taplin lbw for nought.

Skipper Jonathan Wright replaced Derrick and immediately caused havoc to take 4-6 in just 4.1 overs as Coventry were all out for 102.

Kidderminster's reply was delayed by rain but once they started the writing was on the wall.

At 28, Wright was caught by Stevenson off Eburah for 17 before Knappett was given out lbw for three.

Craig Wood (23 not out) and Mansell, falling one short of a half-century, edged Kidder-minster past their target.

Bromsgrove were thrashed by eight wickets at Old Hill in Division One.

Old Hill reached 100-2 after Bromsgrove had slumped to just 98 all out.
