THE president of the English Bowling Association, Peter Arnold, brought a team to Evesham last week to help the host club celebrate its centenary season.
Members of the visiting squad, that also included Pershore's county president Roy Briscoe, had travelled from as far afield as Kent, Norfolk and the Isle of Wight.
Evesham Mayor, Jo Sandalls, was also on hand to welcome the visitors, while the visiting president returned home with victory on the green and a magnificent round of gras'.
