HEREFORD United have arranged three pre-season friendlies.

West Bromwich Albion, Bristol City and Cheltenham Town will all visit Edgar Street in the build-up to the new League Two season.

Tony Mowbray's Baggies will be in town on Friday, July 27, with kick-off at 7.45pm, while Bristol City visit on Saturday, July 21.

Albion could be in the Premiership by the time of the match and City, managed by Gary Johnson, have just won promotion to the Championship.

Cheltenham, who released former United striker Steve Guinan at the end of the season, take on the Bulls on Saturday, August 4, at 3pm.

Following the release of five players earlier this week, Hereford have confirmed seven players remain under contract until the end of next season.

Goalkeeper Wayne Brown, defenders Phil Gulliver and Trent McClenahan, midfielders Richard Rose, Luke Webb and Ben Smith and striker Tim Sills will all feature in manager Graham Turner's plans for the 2007/08 campaign.

Stuart Fleetwood, Glyn Thompson, Andy Ferrell, Martyn Giles and Danny Thomas have all left Edgar Street.
