THREE players have agreed new contracts with Kidderminster Harriers.
Veteran defender Jeff Kenna and midfielder Gavin Hurren have signed one-year deals, while Russell Penn will remain at the club for at least the next two seasons.
The news comes just 24 hours after manager Mark Yates released five players as part of his preparations for the new campaign.
Andy White, Luke Reynolds, Scott Eaton, Jake Sedgemore and Gary Hay have all left the Conference club.
Yates, though, is delighted to have secured the services of key personnel as he plans an assault on the title.
The boss said: "Jeff gives us some absolutely vital experience and he's great to have around the club and the dressing room. He's the kind of player who can really make the rest of the team play.
"Gavin has made fantastic progress since he signed his last contract with us and if he can keep on developing and continuing that progress than we'll certainly have one hell of a player on our hands."
Penn's current deal was due to expire at the end of next season but Yates knows how important the midfielder is to the team.
The manager added: "Russ is a really big player for us and he's been one of the best in the league over the course of this last season.
"He's definitely the kind of player we want around the club for next season and the future."
The contract revelations complete an eventful week at the Aggborough club following their FA Trophy final defeat and Yates' four-match ban for violent conduct.
