PERSHORE High School student Courtney Hewison has been chosen to play cricket for Worcestershire women's county squad.
Hewison, 14, of Littleworth, will compete in the under 15 and under 17 squads with six fixtures throughout May, June and July.
Her first match will be a friendly on May 23 and she is especially looking forward to the Taunton Festival during July.
