CLIVE Griffiths is set to be announced as director of rugby Mike Ruddock's number two at Sixways.
Doncaster RFC have announced that Griffiths has left his post as director of rugby and claim he will be linking up with Ruddock at Worcester.
Griffiths, who was one year into a two-year deal at Doncaster, was Ruddock's defensive coach when the new Warriors chief was head coach of the Wales Grand Slam-winning team.
The Doncaster statement said: "Clive Griffiths has accepted the post of assistant to Mike Ruddock, his old colleague within the Welsh international team, at Worcester RFC.
"We have really appreciated the role Clive has played over the past year and the whole club was looking forward to an ongoing, positive relationship. That is now not to be.
"However, we are really proud of our existing squad members and hope to continue to compete at the highest levels of national rugby.
"The search is now on, albeit at a late hour, for a replacement director of rugby and we are sure that the spirit of the squad and the club will continue unabated."
Worcester Warriors have today declined to comment on the Doncaster statement.
