THE second day of the LV County Championship Division One clash between Worcestershire and Lancashire was abandoned without a ball being bowled at Old Trafford.
Worcestershire had taken control of the clash on day one, bowling Lancashire out for 161 and reaching 164-4 in reply. But their momentum was halted by the notorious Manchester weather and play was finally called off by umpires Jeff Evans and John Holder at 4pm.
