STRIKER James Constable believes winning promotion to the Football League next season will help Kidderminster Harriers get over their FA Trophy agony.
The former Walsall hitman struck twice in five first-half minutes against Stevenage Borough but ended up on the losing side.
And he says he would have no qualms swapping his Wembley double to finish top of the Conference pile this time next year.
Constable said: "I've scored a few goals in the competition but I'll trade all of them for league goals and promotion next season so I am going to be doing the best I can and hopefully we can get promoted next season.
"Promotion is the only way we're going to progress and that's what we'll be aiming for next season."
The 22-year-old gave Harriers the lead with a poacher's strike on 32 minutes before doubling their advantage with a cool finish following Iyseden Christie's back-heel.
He said: "It's one of the best stadiums in the world and it's nice to get some goals but if we could have held on for a winner it would have made it a lot better feeling.
"We've just got to try and forget it now and get on with next season. It's vital now we get on with the summer and come back for pre-season refreshed and put totally out of our heads what's happened."
Constable added: "I think we started well and we didn't really want to come off at half-time. If it had carried on for another 10 minutes I think we would have killed the game off.
"It's just a shame we couldn't play in the second-half like we did in the first.
"At half-time I didn't have any doubts that we would win the game so we are bitterly disappointed that we couldn't win the game.
"All the lads expected a strong second-half performance from them because they were 2-0 down so all the pressure was on them. We knew what they were going to be about and it's just a shame we couldn't defend better and stop them scoring.
"The way we played in the first-half we didn't expect a second-half performance like that.
"If they hadn't have scored so early I think we would have gone on and won the game so we have just got to perform better in the second- half of games and hopefully it will help us in the long run."
