KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Mark Yates believes he has a group of players capable of achieving FA Trophy glory.
Harriers travelled to Wembley last night ahead of tomorrow's eagerly-anticipated final against Stevenage Borough in front of the Sky cameras and a potential 80,000 crowd (2.15pm).
The Aggborough club endured a poor end to their Conference campaign, winning just once in five games, but Yates is confident that will have no baring come kick-off.
He said: "The season ended disappointingly but that's gone now and I know we have got a great group of players who will be up for it and who will be able to handle the occasion.
"They are a confident bunch. They have proved this season at Dagenham, Morecambe, Exeter and Stevenage that they are there for the big occasions.
"The players have got us this far and now we have to enjoy the occasion but be fully focused on the game."
To that end, Yates and his squad are spending today familiarising themselves with the illustrious surroundings in a bid to help them focus tomorrow.
The manager said: "As much as we are going to enjoy the day, our ultimate aim is to win the Trophy.
"We are doing everything properly and we don't want to let the supporters and our families down. Most importantly, we don't want to let ourselves down and being there will help us to get used to the surroundings.
"When we arrive at the ground at 12.30pm tomorrow the players have to have their minds on the job.
"We have got a job to do and a game of football to win and if we do things right we know we can beat Stevenage."
Yates added: "I think it will be a great occasion. Wembley occasions always seem to be very jovial but that's great.
"We have sold 20,000 tickets and we are grateful for that but we will take any support we can get on the day."
Yates also believes the final could be the start of good things to come for Harriers and propel them forward to a successful future.
The team only won seven times at Aggborough this season, the second lowest in the Conference, but have aspirations of returning to the Football League.
"Hopefully it's a step in the right direction," Yates added. "We needed to address a few things, which I feel we have done, and hopefully we can start performing at Aggborough."
