BUSINESS is booming in the Kidderminster Harriers club shop.
Ever since Mark Yates' team booked their place in Saturday's FA Trophy final against Stevenage Borough, trade has soared.
Demand to be decked out in Harriers colours at Wembley is so high staff at the club shop simply cannot keep up.
Harriers have sold more than 20,000 tickets for the match - a similar number to Borough - and it seems everyone wants to look the part.
You name it, you can buy it - shirts, scarves, flags, glad hands, hats and wigs - all in the red and white of Harriers.
Helen MacDonald, commercial manager for six years, said: "I've never seen anything like it.
"It's been absolutely tremendous. We could never have forecast how busy we have been.
"We could never have said that we were going to sell the number of tickets that we have and now we can't keep up at the shop.
"We are having deliveries every day and stuff is going out as soon as it arrives.
"We have done late nights in the club shop, we've been open at weekends and the shop is always busy.
"We are taking more every day than we take on a normal home game. Even the first home game of the season when we have a new home shirt, we are still taking more each day than that particular day."
She continued: "I thought perhaps we would sell 12,500 and a few more because it's the new Wembley but I can't believe how many tickets we have sold in such a short time.
"You never think a club of this level is going to play in front of a crowd of 60,000-plus. Wembley is a massive factor because it's the first game to be played at the new stadium.
"We've had lots of special merchandise with Wembley on, which has obviously sold.
"The polo shirts that we're selling for £10 have got Wembley Stadium and the date on and as soon as they come in supporters want to buy them because they are cheap and it's a nice keepsake."
And it's not just the regular fans that have been descending on the shop around the clock since Harriers saw off Northwich Victoria in the semi-finals in March and Wembley was announced as the venue.
MacDonald added: "The players are coming in with big orders for their families right down to even people who probably don't come to our home games.
"They want to go with Harriers colours and Harriers shirts on for this occasion."
