JEFF Kenna has told his Kidderminster Harriers team-mates to cherish their FA Trophy final experience against Stevenage Borough.

The 36-year-old defender is in line to become one of the first two players - along with Stevenage winger Steve Guppy - to have played at both the old and new Wembleys.

Kenna played at the national stadium for Southampton in the Zenith Data Systems Cup in 1992 and for then-Premiership champions Blackburn Rovers against Everton in the 1995 Charity Shield.

Guppy was a Leicester City player when they beat Tranmere Rovers in the 2000 League Cup final.

Kenna is the most experienced member of the Harriers squad preparing for Saturday's high-profile match and says enjoyment is the key.

The former Republic of Ireland international said: "The only thing I could say is to make sure they enjoy the day.

"It'll be over before they know it. They have to enjoy the build-up, not get too worked up by the fact it's at Wembley and with the big crowd and just remain focused on the game of football.

"I am sure a lot of the players won't have played in front of that sort of crowd before.

"You've got to dismiss everything from your mind other than the game that's being played in front of you. I think it's how the players handle it that will determine which team wins on the day."

He added: "Stevenage came here, played very well and beat us then we defeated them down there so it's an evenly matched game.

"I think on the day it's going to be whoever holds their nerve the best and plays the more relaxed football and I am hoping that's us."
