ARDEN Sailing Club members enjoyed a busy weekend of six races.
In an at-times gusty wind, the first of the women's series races was won by Jane Smee in a straight head-to-head with Caroline Stephen in club Picos.
In the second round of the Arden trophy, Jeremy and Michele Griffiths pulled away at the front but only scraped through by three corrected seconds on handicap.
Ralph Evans (Solo) was second with David Yule (Heron) third and David Bryden (Heron) fourth.
The Solo Cup first round was taken by Evans in a straight head-to-head with Keith Stevens.
Bryden managed revenge over Yule in the Commodores Cup first round, finishing third behind Evans and Stevens.
The Griffiths steamed ahead of the opposition in the Enterprise Trophy and the Bert Thurlow Cup.
Stuart and Caroline Stephen were second with newcomer Malcolm Colledge and Alan Salerman third.
