WESTFIELDS brought the curtain down on their 40th anniversary year with a 6-1 win over the Villa Old Stars at allpay.park.
They made a sizeable contribution to the Liver Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.
Westfields lined up with former strikers Gary Stevens and Alex Sykes.
Gloucester City's Sykes put Westfields ahead with a 20- yard strike in the 12th minute.
Former captain Matt Phillips, who skippered Westfields to the West Midlands League Championship in 2002, then popped up for the second goal before current captain Mark Hibbard put them 3-0 ahead.
However, Villa pulled one back before half-time with the best goal of the game.
Phil King, who scored the winning penalty for Villa over Inter Milan in the 1994/95 UEFA Cup, beat 'keeper Jon Pugh with a tremendous shot from the edge of the area.
After the break, Brendan Ormsby and Colin Gibson both went close for the visitors before Mark Hibbard put Westfields 4-1 ahead.
Pat Heard, another of the Villa European Cup-winning team, worked hard alongside Neil Rioch to keep the younger Westfields side at bay.
But they could do nothing to stop the Hereford side's former manager Mick Summers from making it 5-1 with a superb finish.
Darren Bradley and David Weston both set up good chances for Gibson.
But the former Villa and Manchester United star shot wide of the Westfields goal when he looked like pulling back the deficit. However, Westfields made it 6-1 with another goal from Phillips as the younger Westfields side finished their chances well.
"It was a lovely day and helped the Villa Old Stars celebrate the 25th anniversary of their European Cup success and end our 40th anniversary on a nice note by helping the Liver Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with a donation," said Andy Morris, chief executive of Westfields.
They finished 16th in the Midland Alliance table this season.
