Evesham Utd 2, Stourbridge 1 (aet) MARK Owen scored the two goals that helped Evesham United lift the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup for the first time.
The striker struck the winner seven minutes into extra-time after he had earlier equalised from the penalty spot after the Glassboys had taken a 57th minute lead through Leon Broadhurst.
The Robins enjoyed a tremendous amount of good fortune as Mark Bellingham hit the woodwork three times and goalkeeper Karl Lewis produced a string of fine stops.
And, Steven Hands was perhaps lucky not to receive a red card after 113 minutes when he pulled back Broadhurst as he raced clear on goal.
However, eight days ago a similar decision went against Paul West's men and, at the end of a long hard season, they deserved every little bit of luck that came their way.
And, after overcoming Redditch, Kidderminster and Worcester City in earlier rounds, tonight's final triumph was richly deserved for a fabulous bunch of players.
