MANAGER Rod Brown be-lieves Bromsgrove Rovers' Southern League Division One Midlands play-off victory can inspire the club to greater things.
Rovers beat Willenhall 2-1 after extra-time at the Victoria Ground to secure promotion to the Premier Division.
Substitute Jermaine Clarke's 111th-minute winner led to fans celebrating on the pitch at the final whistle.
It is the first time the club, a Conference side in the early 1990s, has been at level three of the non-league pyramid since 2003, before the re-structuring took place.
Brown said: "It was phenomenal. Success is great for any football club but a club of this size needs to be at this level of football.
"They've been starved of success for a long time and the fans were just awesome. They deserve a bit of success.
"We've worked all season towards this and I think this is a stepping stone for the club to hopefully move forward in a bigger way.
"I think we could be a surprise next year if we get the right players."
