STEPHANIE Holmes qualified for the Great Britain team at the national assessment races hosted by Worcester Canoe Club.
The 15-year-old, already an international, was third in the girls' under 18s K2 marathon with Banbury's Laura Ferguson to achieve her goal.
Jonny Tye, in the under 16s, was another Worcester member to try for a national spot, while Dave Pedlar and John Parker raced in the seniors.
In the regional races, Robert Cave impressed for the club with victory in the division nine novices.
Cave secured promotion as did third-placed Alistair Collier, one of the parents who has recently joined the club.
Veterans Sue Hawthorn and Adrian Trickett won in the K2 division five and six.
Hosts Worcester won the regional event and the points go towards their efforts in reaching the national final.
The club's Stuart West said: "It was great that there was a good contingent of juniors competing for us. Worcester is normally well known for it's veterans."
There were top-three positions for juniors Matthew Badham, Isabel Badham and Dylan Stowards.
