THE Bank Holiday weekend sees another bumper period for point-to-point enthusiasts.

Saturday and Sunday brings the two-day Radnor and West Hereford meeting, while the North Ledbury Hunt event follows on Monday.

The Radnor and West Hereford meeting at Cold Harbour, near Leominster, begins on Saturday with a six-race card commencing at 2pm.

Multiple winner Ballylusky, probable mount of champion Richard Burton, is a stand-out entry among the 20 received for the Men's Open race and he will be looking to atone for running out in the recent Lady Dudley Cup.

Last week's Brampton Bryan winner Euryalus could make a quick reappearance in the Confined race and give Burton a double - but opposition is likely from The Accordian Man and Rain Delay.

Sunday's Radnor and West Hereford meeting is again a 2pm start for a six-race card.

The four-mile Men's Open race should see a competitive race with the 19 entries including last year's winner Samual Wilderspin, Fresh Love, Paddy for Paddy and Shuil Monty.

The North Ledbury Hunt meeting at Maisemore Park on Monday is a seven-race card with a 2pm start.

The Ladies' Open looks competitive with 27 entries received, including Little Brown Bear, Greensleeves, Mighty Montefalco and Watchyourback.

The young horse Maiden race has received 45 entries and a division is possible.

Among those to watch out for are Mad Victor, who unseated his rider last time out, Worship the Stars and Mendip Dane.

The Wheatland Hunt point-to-point will be held at Chaddesley Corbett, between Bromsgrove and Kidderminster, on Sunday, May 13.
