LEGENDARY Worcestershire hill climb course, Shelsley Walsh, has been resurfaced from top to bottom to ensure top racing for the next decade.
A new section of tarmac has also been added in the top paddock where competitors previously had to peel off onto grass.
Roger Thomas, secretary of the Midland Automobile Club, said: "We put in a great deal of effort choosing the contractors for the job, eventually going for the same people who resurfaced Silverstone."
