KEMPSEY defeated RSRE by 10 wickets in a 40-over friendly.
Kempsey won the toss and elected to field. RSRE began steadily before Rashid (82) and Derbyshire (20) forged a partnership of 100.
Good catching kept the visitors in check as they finished on 159 all out off the last ball.
Jon Dean was the pick of the bowlers with five wickets from eight overs.
Youngster Jack Murphy, Lance Ohren and Mark Tucker took one wicket each.
In reply, openers Chris Genever (83 not out) and Barney Aktar 65no polished off the runs in 27 overs.
