WORCESTERSHIRE spinner Ray Price has been reprimanded under the England and Wales Cricket Board's discipline code following an incident during Worcestershire's Second XI Championship match against MCC Young Cricketers on April 24-26.
The former Zimbabwe left-armer was reported for a level one breach of the code (abuse of cricket ground, equipment or fixtures/fittings).
The penalty remains on Price's record for a period of two years. Any further level one breach during that period will result in an automatic imposition of three penalty points.
Meanwhile, New Road director of cricket, Steve Rhodes, has named the same team that were beaten in the LV opener at home to Durham for tomorrow's four-day clash with neighbours Warwickshire at New Road (11am).
Rhodes said: "We'll try to play nice and aggressively and dominate the game. We need to get off to a good start and the first day is crucial.
"It's always great fun to play in a local derby and for any of the guys who haven't played in a Worcester and Warwick clash, I'm sure they'll really enjoy it.
"When I played, I loved playing against Warwickshire and it was the team, more than anyone else, we liked to beat."
County skipper Vikram Solanki is desperate for his side to get their Championship campaign up and running.
"We must bounce back because we have had an indifferent start, but we are confident we can do that," he said.
Worcestershire: Moore, Jaques, Solanki, Smith, Hick, Davies, Batty, Sillence, Kabir Ali, Bollinger, Malik.
