WESTFIELDS finished off their fourth season in the Midland Alliance in style with a 1-0 win at Loughborough Dynamo.
The Hereford side finished 16th in the table after completing the double over their Leicestershire opponents.
Diminutive striker Tom Harding produced a deadly finish in the 14th minute that proved a vital match winner.
In an exciting end-to-end game, the visitors could have won by a more convincing scoreline had it not been for some excellent goalkeeping by Matt Nurse.
Scott Jackson forced Nurse into action with a 25 yard free-kick before Harding and Daniel Moon put in good efforts.
But Nurse had no chance with the only goal of the game, a fine chip from Harding after good work by Terry Green and Jamie Cuss.
Loughborough came back at Westfields and Tom Sparey twice made timely tackles on the home strikers.
After the break, Jamie Edwards was denied by Nurse's flying save and top-scorer Mark Davis also went close.
Nurse produced further fine stops from Harding, Chris Jefferson and Jackson, while goalkeeper Jon Pugh saved well at the other end.
