YMCA Falcons won their last four matches to steal the Worcester League Division Two title from Jorakeroge.
Playing at Himbleton C', Falcons' man-of-the-match Dave Elliott took the scalp of Adam Throssell for the second time this season in a five-set thriller.
Elliott then went on to beat Malcolm Parker and Pete Rogers convincingly.
Throssell won his other two singles matches and, with Pete Rogers, beat Elliott and John Cawthra in the doubles.
However, with Falcons' Pete Stevens winning two matches and Cawthra beating Parker, Falcons took three points.
At home to the rejuvenated Hartlebury Wanderers, the return of John Stalker made all the difference.
Stalker won all three singles and, playing with Elliott, won the doubles against Simon Webb and Linda Davies.
Throssell finally got his revenge over Elliott in Falcons' home match with Himbleton C'.
The turning point was the doubles where Stalker and Elliott were 8-10 down in the fifth against Throssell and Parker but scraped home 12-10.
With Stalker, Elliott and Cawthra all winning two single matches each, Falcons won 7-3.
In the last match, Falcons turned out their strongest team to overcome two previous defeats by Broadheath Belters and it paid off.
With the match standing at 5-3, Falcons number one Stalker fittingly beat Brett Brinning 11-4 in the fifth, giving Falcons the title.
Elliott won two singles matches and Stevens put the icing on the cake, beating Belters' Ken Hipwell 11-9 in the fifth set.
