A CHARITY golf day is being held in memory of a former Worcster City footballer.
More than 50 players, split into teams of four, are expected to take part at Ravenmeadow Golf Club, Droitwich Road, on Sunday, May 6.
The event is being organised by City assistant physio Martin Obrey in memory of his former golf partner Graham Jones, who died of cancer recently aged 53. Jones made 30 apperances for the St George's Lane club in the 1972/73 season. All proceeds from the day, including a raffle, will go to St Richard's Hospice.
