TWO goals in the final five minutes defeated Malvern as they went down 3-1 at home to Rushall Olympic in Southern League Division One Mid-lands.
The only chance in the first half-hour came when Rush-all's Dean Perrow broke thr-ough the Malvern defence and chipped the ball over the bar.
After 30 minutes, Tyrone Barnett shot from the right- hand side and Mark Wright, in goal for Malvern, turned the ball round the post for a corner.
The corner was played in and, after a few ricochets, fell to Rob Holdcroft, who turned on the edge of the box and hit the bar with his shot but Perrow was on hand to knock in the ball from a few yards.
This woke Malvern up and Gary Walker fired in a shot from 30 yards which hit the crossbar and, seven minutes later, Ed Lyons went down the right-hand side and passed the ball to Dan Harding-Hall who turned and fired wide.
Malvern started the second- half still on the attack and Walker hit the side netting in the 55th minute. Malvern had most of the possession but could not turn that into goals until the 75th minute when a corner from Jamie Hyde was headed home by Lyons.
Rik Halion shot over from 30 yards two minutes later as Malvern pressed for the win.
In the 85th minute, the ball was played to Holdcroft and he fired in the second from 20 yards out.
Malvern continued to press but, in injury-time, Rushall broke down the right and crossed the ball into the area where Perrow knocked it home from five yards.
