DROITWICH A' were made to fight hard against their B' side in order to secure the Worcestershire Cricket Board Indoor League Sunday title.
They were ahead of Worcester Nomads A' on runs per wicket average with both sides having 12 points each.
So Spa A' progress to the county finals at Prince Henry's High School, Evesham, on Tuesday.
They defeated the B' side by two wickets after restricting their club-mates to 97 and then totalling 101-4.
Opener Craig Hunt (39 not out), Martyn Davies (17) and Glen Harrison (12) were the big scorers for the B' team.
Paul Bryan (2-23) and Anthony Small (2-9) were the wicket takers.
In reply, Droitwich 'A' had to rely on experience with opener Bryan, who returned after retiring on 27no, and Karl Goddard seeing Spa home. Mike Rogers added 14 runs.
Paul Thomas (1-17) and Nigel Haddock (1-29) claimed wickets.
Nomads Academy defeated RGS Worcester comfortably by 61 runs, making 120-5 and then dismissing their rivals for 59.
RGS, still suffering jet-lag from a recent overseas tour, took wickets through Dan Sproul (2-23) and Liam Booth (1-26).
But Nomads batted well with James Smith (31), Geoff Taylor (24) and Sam Roberts (19) starring.
In reply, Matt Humphries (2-20), Chris Elsden (1-23) and Taylor (1-0) helped skittle RGS whose top scorer was Sproul with 24.
Fossils were made to work hard for the Monday title and a place at the county finals. They defeated Droitwich C' by just three runs after making 109-4 and then keeping them down to 106-6.
Fossils made the worst possible start, losing Mark Groves to the first ball.
But brothers Richard (11) and Tim Williams (30no) recovered the situation.
Tony Williams added 19, Kevin Gilbert 10 and Martin Woodward 11no.
Jack Stevens (1-23) and Rhys John (1-28) claimed the wickets.
In reply, Droitwich C' could not quite reach the total though John made 46 and Pete Gurr 16.
Woodward turned in a match-winning 3-14 and Tim Williams took 1-33.
Colwall conceded their match with Old Vigornians.
