WORCESTER City will be up against a wealth of footballing experience when they attempt to win their final home game of the season on Saturday.
City host Hucknall Town with the aim of stretching their unbeaten run at St George's Lane in 2007 to 12 games and securing three vital points in the process.
But they face a Hucknall side likely to boast several players with more than 1,000 Football League appearances between them.
Player-manager Andy Legg, famed for his long throw-ins, has clocked up 522 of those for the likes of Swansea, Notts County and Birmingham City.
Defender Tony Gallimore has made 502 appearances - 263 for Grimsby and 124 for Carlisle - while striker David Johnson played Premiership football for Ipswich but retired from the professional game while with Nottingham Forest due to a back injury.
City manager Andy Preece said: "It won't be an easy game because they are a decent side and they have been up there all season.
"They have got players with loads of league experience in the likes of Tony Gallimore, players with real pedigree and it will be a good test for us.
"They have got a long throw in Andy Legg and we will have to be careful of David Johnson because he's a top player. He has made them stronger and is scoring goals for fun for them."
Preece said: "We want to keep our unbeaten run going at home and maintain it until the end of the season.
"It's come a bit too late but it's better to be in a decent run of form going into the end of the season than not.
"We want to finish in the top 10 and hopefully in the top six or seven. We have still got targets to make and it starts with Hucknall."
Worcester cancelled tonight's training session because only eight players would have been fit to take part.
However, Preece is confident Chris Smith and George Clegg will return from ankle and leg injuries but Shabir Khan is ruled out with a pulled hamstring.
Preece added: "The lads have had a rest and we are hoping Chris Smith and George Clegg will be fit but Shabir Khan will be out.
"We should just be able to name a squad of 16."
