EVESHAM United can put one foot in the Southern League Division One Midlands play-offs on Saturday.
Victory at fourth-from-bottom Barton Rovers (3pm) would take Paul West's side to 69 points and put destiny in their own hands on the final day.
The Robins have propelled themselves into contention with three wins, a draw and just one defeat from their last five games.
They also beat Barton 4-2 at St George's Lane on April 3 in a game which saw four different scorers for the hosts.
Manager West said: "It's another cup final for us. It's very important and all we can do is try and get a win.
"We have got two league games left and that's all we can concentrate on.
"We played them a couple of weeks ago and they are no mugs even though the scoreline made it look comfortable. They will pose a threat.
"We know a little bit about them but I am sure they will know a little bit about us. We will have to be on top of our game."
West was pleased with the effort from his players in last weekend's 1-1 draw at fellow play-off hopefuls Woodford United and he is calling for more of the same against a Barton side who have only won once in seven games.
He said: "I think the performance deserved a win on Saturday. We dominated the game for three quarters of it.
"If we can perform to Saturday's level I am sure we will get the right result."
Goalkeeper Karl Lewis took over from Nathan Vaughan, who is awaiting a suspension for a third red card, against Woodford and will continue to deputise for the rest of the season.
However, midfielder Mark Hands is a doubt as he continues to struggle through games with a groin problem.
West added: "It's difficult when we have got a thin squad but the lads showed great character."
